This was a favourite of mine at Uni but I haven’t thought of it for years! I have had a few trips down memory lane lately and gone through loads of old photos from Uni and I guess the recipe just came back to me – I was delighted to re-establish the acquaintance!

It was my friend Annika who first made it for me and she only used bacon, but I’ve added chicken as well just because, you know, chicken is great! It’s dead simple and quick to make: fry a packet of bacon with a couple of chicken fillets, break a packet of Gorgonzola into pieces and chuck in the pan, add creme fraiche to your taste and season with black pepper and chili powder. Lots of yummy calories!
